The All-Star Panel on "Special Report with Bret Baier" gave viewers their thoughts Thursday on the dangers of picking a side in the Syrian civil war.

"It seems like we know less and less about this rebel force,"  Baier noted.

The Wall Street Journal's Jon Hilsenrath said he thinks the problem is there's no side for the U.S. to choose. "The problem is you can't punish a tactic, without choosing a side."

Kirsten Powers, columnist with The Daily Beast, said, "The issue is that the people who are the most organized, and the most armed, are the people who are affiliated with... Al Qaeda or Islamist elements... that we don't want to be supporting."

Syndicated Columnist Charles Krauthammer had the final word, suggesting it was a tragedy that a popular demonstration with no Al Qaeda elements has been infiltrated and nothing has been done.

For him, the biggest issue is the Iran-Syria-Russia-Hezbollah axis: "The other guys are disorganized and weak. I think they'd be easier to handle."
