Paul Ryan on vice president possibility: a bridge to cross later
Apr 11th 2012, 13:05

GOP Rep. Paul Ryan, the high-profile chairman of the House Budget Committee and an oft-discussed possible vice presidential pick for Mitt Romney, says he hasn't discussed the possibility with the candidate-to-be, but says he'd think about it if asked, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Mr. Ryan spent three days campaigning with Romney in his home state of Wisconsin just before a big Romney win there, but says the two never discussed the vice president possibility.

Asked in a WSJ.com video interview whether he would like to have that conversation, Ryan replied:

"It's his decision months from now, not mine. So why spend my time thinking about it?…If this bridge ever comes that I should cross it, then I'll think about it then. It's not the time to think about it."
