Oregon elections worker fired after allegations of ballot tampering Nov 6th 2012, 12:59 Published November 06, 2012 FoxNews.com An elections worker in Oregon was fired after she was accused of tampering with ballots, in a case that has since been referred to the state's Department of Justice for investigation.  Fox 12 in Oregon reports that Deanna Swenson, who was working part-time in Clackamas County, allegedly voted for Republican candidates on two ballots where voters had left sections blank. County commissioners reportedly claimed they saw her fill in the blanks on Oct. 31.  Oregon Secretary of State Kate Brown on Sunday announced she'll send in a second state elections official to watch over elections in the county.  "Voters and Clackamas County elections officials need to know that we are keeping a very close eye on the processing of ballots," Brown said, according to Fox 12.  Click for more from Fox 12.
