Feds: Sebelius to testify before House on ObamaCare 'as early as next week' Oct 21st 2013, 18:07 Published October 21, 2013 FoxNews.com The Department of Health and Human Services said Monday that agency Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will testify before a House committee about ObamaCare. An HHS spokesman said agency officials have been in "close communications" with the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, which has repeatedly asked Sebelius to testify and have expressed their desire to be responsive to the request. Spokeswoman Joanne Peters said the secretary will testify as early as next week, as reported first by Politico and confirmed by Fox News. The committee is scheduled to hold a hearing Thursday on whether the Obama administration was unaware of looming problems to the glitch-plagued ObamaCare website or didn't disclose them prior to the Oct. 1 start date. Peters said Sebelius had a "scheduling conflict" but didn't say when -- amid criticism the secretary plans to attend a gala in Boston the night before the hearing. Peters also said no future dates or times have been confirmed.
