MSNBC airs wrong photo in reporting retired Congressman Foley's death Oct 19th 2013, 15:49 Published October 19, 2013 FoxNews.com MSNBC in reporting the death of former House Speaker Tom Foley incorrectly aired a picture of Mark Foley, the disgraced Florida congressman. The 84-year-old Foley died Friday morning after spending several months in hospice care. He served as House speaker for six years, under the Bush and Clinton administrations. Mark Foley, R-Fla., served from 1995 to 2006, when House leadership asked him to resign amid allegations he sent inappropriate messages to past and present congressional pages. A host for the cable network issued an on-air apology by the afternoon.
